Bulkweedinbox’s Sunset Sherbet, looked like an amalgamation of lime green and deep purple raspberries. The nugs themselves were smaller in appearance; however, they were very dense. Sunset Sherbet is a potent indica hybrid with 23.8% THC and is the candy baby of the famous strain Girl Scout Cookie or GSC.

When I opened the bag, I got a fresh fragrance of sweet skunk, mixed with an earthy, oaky tannic-ness and refreshingly berry and citrus concoction, giving both a sweet and savoury impression.

When combusted, Sunset Sherbet created a plume of earthy and berry fragrances, that set heavily in my room in a mystic layer of smoke. The flavour of the green and purple tye-dyed ground bud was fantastically sweet; it was truly a reflection of its rich and delightful aroma. I have had previous experience with this strain and this cut from Bulkweedinbox was an explosive version in its taste and look, being very robust and dense; as well as, refreshingly sweet with hints of fruity citrus.

When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, the flavour of this sugary and earthy strain did not tame too much. Although, with its unique zest, I plan on sticking to joints with rice paper with this one, to really appreciate its full-bodied, purple essence.

The effects of Bulkweedinbox’s striking, Sunset Sherbet was bizarre and it was clear how much this hybrid leans on its indica side. After my first hit, the high came on quite quickly and after the second, I did not want to get off the couch. Melting like the Sherbet I smoked, it was a wonderful, body-high experience, which was ideal for within an hour of bedtime.

Bulkweedinbox’s White Cookie buds were richly fragrant of fresh flowers, emitting an immense potpourri of decadent and earthy floral tones, that left a huge impression with the potency of the aroma. Moreover, the frosty, crystal trichomes on this knockout strain were as thick as thieves.

When White Cookies was combusted, it pulled very smoothly and cleanly, reminding me more of my vaporizer, with its easy draw. The clouds that came along with this uplifting strain were aromatic with its woodsy and floral earth tones. Unsurprisingly, the fog was as full-bodied and potent as the fragrance.

When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, Bulkweedinbox’s cheerful White Cookies produced a much sweeter and earthier vapour than what I was expecting, pulling it closer towards its Girl Scout Cookie heritage. The vapour smoke was also not quite as pungent as when hitting the bong.

Furthermore, White Cookies is a strain that is not seen very often, nearly a rarity to find and I can understand why. Its grow time is longer than most growers prefer; however, its effects are sought after; being uplifted, focused, happy and relaxed. The perfect concoction of both stimulating and sedating made for an exemplary wake-and-bake, to start my day off, the right way.

The forest green flowers had dense, long shoots with short, stout and rectangular trichomes. The sparkly and tabular crystals glazed the bud in a uniform, frosty glaze like a layer of dusty, powdered sugar.  The buds were also sticky to the touch.

When combusted, the Blue Fin Tuna Kush from Bulkweedinbox created a film in the air so thick, that I asked myself if I left the oven on; luckily, I had not. This strain had a remarkably unusual flavour; being both sweet and skunky. The blueberry notes were lighter than its aroma; however, the skunky tones with the sweetness in the background were refreshing.

When the Blue Tuna was vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, the flavour of the strain brightened full-heartedly, with the sweeter, berry undertones racing from behind the earthy skunk, eventually overpowering the skunkiness. Either way, this strain was an amazing experience, as all of the flavour profiles were unique and interesting.

Like many indicas, this strain put me down in the best of ways. However, unlike others, Blue Fin Tuna Kush came from two of the strongest known Indicas-to-date. The high made my restless mind calm in a way I have rarely experienced. It rolled onto me from my head to my toes, in complete relaxation and eased my tense and aching shoulders and stilled my mind gracefully, from a long work day.

Ace Killer OG (70% Indica/30% Sativa)

Bulkweedinbox’s Ace Killer OG is an indica dominant hybrid with a long family line, coming from two Indicas, King’s Kush and Kosher Kush, the hybrid White Fire OG; as well as, a mystery strain that is most likely of the Diesel variety. The buds are also an average of a whopping 26% THC, which guarantee to deliver a potent experience.

The nuggets from Bulkweedinbox were long, with dense, well-trimmed and were filled with a variety of greens; from bright lime, deep within, to sage, olive, army, and moss greens, deeply contrasted by the many frozen amber pistils, preserved perfectly by the cure of the bud. The trichomes were uniformly spread throughout the top layer of the bud, resembling fine, green-tinged and cream coloured snow.   

When combusted, Ace Killer OG filled the room with its fragrant brown diesel aroma. The smoke cloud that emerged from combustion generated a hotbox in my bedroom in just a few small hits and my room is not even that small. Furthermore, the flavour profile was pleasant and complex, which consisted of a robust, musky pine-ness enveloped by earth and nature.

When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, Ace Killer OG was less of a “killer” and more of a subtle and silent stalker. The diesel and pine flavour became lighter and airer and overall easier to smoke. Vaping this strain allowed me to appreciate its sedative-like effects without the strong flavours and aromas.

The effects of Bulkweedinbox’s Ace Killer OG were nearly overwhelming, even to a seasoned smoker like myself; but luckily, I was near my bed. I embrace powerful Indicas with open arms; however, I would not welcome the Ace Killer OG until the sun has set. This was a knock-out-strain, full stop. I highly recommend that novice users use caution with this strain and do be close to your bed, as you will surely need it!

Shatter made solely from the sativa-leaning AK47 strain is a dab I can get behind, even in the middle of the morning. The colour was a bewitching, light amber and the piece we got from Bulkweedinbox had little to no flaws. The translucency was gorgeous, resembling a tiny piece of delicate, stained-glass. The shatter also had a slight, sweet, spiced fragrance; as well as, an earthy undertone and a slight, oaky musk.

Once the AK47 concentrate was stirred by my full glass nectar collector, its earthy and sour, floral flavours coated my entire mouth. Many of the dabs I have experienced have had chemically aftertastes, less with a glass nail, and surprisingly; even less so, with this shatter from Bulkweedinbox. The concentrate was also easy to snap and set, unlike other, gooey types.

The high from the AK47 shatter lasted a shockingly long amount of time, which is the opposite of problematic; it genuinely made me very satisfied and happy for choosing AK47, over the many other options.
